Call for submissions is now open! The British Society for the History of Mathematics is pleased to invite submissions for its 2020 undergraduate essay prize. The essay may be on any topic within the history of mathematics and should be no more than 2500 words in length (excluding references). The competition is open to any person who is enrolled as an undergraduate in a UK or Irish university.

In-Course Awards will be disbursed if the recipient continues to be enrolled in a McMaster degree program, or a specific McMaster program, when explicitly required by the terms of the award, or the student’s record reflects they are on exchange, on letter of permission, or participating in a coop or internship opportunity at McMaster University.
